Delightful hints of tobacco and spice lead to inviting aromas of cherries, strawberries, and plums. This full-bodied wine is rich with refined, silky tannins and a long finish of vanilla and red berry essence that is particularly pleasurable. Modus' structure on the palate promises that this wine can be aged for many years. Modus is wonderful on its own, or serve it with bold dishes such as duck with olives and pancetta, beef-stuffed manicotti with Bolognese sauce, and aged cheeses including taleggio, pecorino and gouda.
