Oskar Blues Brewery is a microbrewery in Longmont, Colorado. Under the leadership and ownership of Dale Katechis, the brewery began its operation in 1997. Dale’s Pale Ale brewed in European malts and American hops, became its first beer. The Dale’s Pale Ale immediately gained attention among the craft beer community. This beer was subsequently followed by more remarkable beers like the Old Chub Scotch Ale, G’ Knight, Gubna and Mama’s Little Yella Pils. Oskar Blues Brewery has maintained a steady expansion and growth over the years. By 2011, it began producing close to 60,000 barrels of beer each year.
