Kona Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Kailua-Kona of Hawaii. The brewery began its operation on February 1995. Immediately after its establishment, the brewery began its steady expansion over the years. In October 2010, the Craft Brew Alliance bought the brewery. Kona Brewing Company is famous for its three all year round beers; the Longboard Island Lager, Big Wave Golden Ale and Fire Rock Pale Ale. Kona Brewing Company’s facility consists of brew kettle, mash tun, 10 fermenters, whirlpool, conditioning tanks and 2 grain silos that allow for 310, 000 gallons of beer production every year. Kona Brewery is said to be a top seller of craft beers in the state of Hawaii.
