Verhaeghe Brewery is a small family brewery in West Flanders, Belgium. The brewery’s history started out way back in 1885 after it was established by Paul Verhaeghe. The brewery started out its operations with small batches of beers and regional exports. Over the years, Verhaeghe Brewery has undergone renovations and different ownerships. The brewery has a heavy focus on Flanders Red Ales. The Duchesse de Bourgogne, a ruby Flemish ale beer, is one of its original beer experiments that have gained wide recognition in the craft beer community. Following Duchesse de Bourgogne, beers like the Vichtenaar and Cambrinus also came to life.
